you know what it depends to be honest. it does have the blue ray player in it but if you don't have a 1080p it doesn't matter, it still does look good on a lower grade television, and the internet isn't like live just as long as you have an internet connection you can use it for multi player, you can have your music on it just like an xbox and pictures and things. the games are starting to come around, and coming out with more and more every week and Sony has always been good with creating new games i mean look at how popular the Ps2 was, there still questions about it on here... so it is defiantly worth it i would think just kind of expensive for some people.

style of an common determination. The PS3 video games that are presently out do no longer even touch the cellular processors ability yet. the hot video games popping out quickly are goingto rock!! XBOX 360?? no way, do a seek for "pink lighting fixtures fixtures of demise". it fairly is a hardware flaw inflicting the equipment to die in under 8 months on usual. They designed the equipment to hold the warmth sinks for the CPU and GPU from the botom of the motherboard and palying the equipment motives warmth to escalate this connection finally permitting warmth in between. Bam!! pink lighting fixtures fixtures of demise. there's an astounding restore available, whether it calls for voiding your guarantee and chanigng out mounting brackets interior the equipment to push the heatr sink down fairly of pulling it. PS3 each and each of ways, extra moderen equipment, extra effectual graghics and the video games would be insane as quickly as the builders could make the main of all that the equipment can fairly do.

The prices of the PS3 are as follows: The current 40GB Ps3 sells for $399.99 but it isn't backwards compatible meaning YOU CANNOT play your PS2 games on it.
The 60GB PS2 sells for $499 and it is backwards compatible playing most PS2 games but Sony has all but ceased manufacturing 60GB PS3's.
Next up is the 80GB PS3 which comes packed with the game Motorstorm. The 80 GB also sells for $499 bit it has limited backwards compatibility meaning it can play some PS2 games but not all. Again Sony has all but ceased manufacturing 80GB PS3's.
Even though Sony has ceased production of their 60 and 80 GB PS3's, you can still find some in Gamestop, EBgames, Target or Wal-Mart.
Just call and ask !

These are US prices.
80gb - $499.99
40gb - $399.99 - No PS2 games playable on this version.
60gb - $499.99 - discontinued
The 80gb has NOT been discontinued, and is still available in retail stores.
Only the 40gb is available in the UK.
It is totally worth it. Definitely the best console on the market.
