is called an oenophile . Is there a similar word for someone who studies beer ?

not necessarily someone who makes it . rather someone who enjoys it . like the analogy would be
wine snob is to oenophile as
beer snob is to _______?
rather than the analogy
vintner is to wine as
brewmaster is to beer.

I know there is an actual word for it but the only thing I can think of right now is Brew Master. A Brew Master is the head brewer and usually considered to be the most knowledgeable about the beer.

Edit:

In that case most of us call ourselves "Beer Advocates" and some go for "Beer Snob." I tend to stay away from snob because of the negative sound of it. I advocate education about beer and the consumption of quality beers from around the world.
