Wow. I can't believe they would call a veteran a murderer. That is really low. I must admit I have emailed people before, but only after they already responded with something really insulting or ignorant to one of my questions. But I always allow people to email me.

I have had hate mail sent to me, and what amuses me is that the person sending the hate mail does not allow mail to be sent to him. LOL< it is as if he can dish it out but can't take it. He calls himself a man several times, but he's not.

You can always change your settings to not accept e-mails. I do this because I don't want nutjobs writing to me like this. Also, my belief is that if someone has something to say to me they can say it right here in front of everyone. If they don't have the balls to do it, then they are just chickenshlt, which it sounds like this person was who e-mailed you.

Praise God and give him the glory. If what you said bothered that person to respond (even negatively) then you bare witness to the truth. If it didn't bother that person, they probably wouldn't have responded. People most generally only get upset, violent or facetious only if you shake their foundation. Congratulations...keep up the good work.

I got an email from a church woman who concluded by saying "May God give you double what you deserve." and she didn't mean it in a nice way.
She didn't say which of my questions she was responding to.
But you cannot screen out insults, of course.

You mean, they email you via Y!Answers, but in their email there is no link for replying to them? That's a weird way to run Answers (right, so what else is new?).
And, your corespondant is such a coward!

Yeah, that happened to me with somebody who claims she's openminded. Her email wasn't a hate message, but she blocked me so I couldn't respond.
Openminded, indeed.
