Sinister Mormon Missionary? Seems like an oxymoron to me. Here is a thought, if you don't want the missionaries to talk to your kids, you could always try asking them... I know, I know, it's a far out there idea, but maybe it's worth a shot. Anyway, the fact is, Mormon missionaries ARE nice, and you ARE paranoid.

When you see them stopping by, just go out into the yard, and tell the Mormons that you don't want them talking to your children, that you are not interested in their religion, and you don't want them coming around your home.
It's that simple.
Really, they are just people like you. When they are 18-20 or so, they go on a two-year missionary tour that their parents must pay for. Aside from that, they are ordinary teenage boys, who like to ride skateboards, play on the X-Box, and go out on dates just like anyone else. So, just be polite, and they'll respect your wishes.

Ask them polity not to speak to your children. The missionaries will honor your requests.
By the way, what is so sinister about spreading kindness?

Tell them politely that they are not allowed to speak to your children or enter your property, and that if they speak to your children again you will call the police.
They are entitled to proselytize, of course, but you are entitled to determine who does and does not speak to your children. Explain, if you wish, that you have no way of knowing if they're genuine missionaries (a somewhat loathsome concept in and of itself) or child molesters scoping out possible victims (or both!), and you will consider them to be the latter if they interact with your children in any way henceforth.

Go out side and talk to them, explain to them your concerns and then work out a solution to the problem with them. Missionaries are generally very understanding people. You don't have to be afraid of trying to work out a problem with them.

Tell them that they are not welcome in your yard.
If they come back, call the local bishop and their mission president and pass on your concern.
As a parent, you have a responsibility to keep your children out of dangerous cults.

Tell your child to yell NO and run inside. Then you go out and give the moron a sound verbal thrashing. If he claims innocence, tell him it doesn't matter. If a child gets used to trusting one freak who may be merely annoying, the child could end up trusting a stranger enough to get too close and become another tragic statistic. Tell the jerk to stay the hell away from your kids.

We get that with the JW kids around here.
Draw little upside-down pentacles on their foreheads - with food coloring or washable ink or something like that. It worked to keep the mini-freaks away from my kids until my kids got old enough to scream in guttural voices.

Have an adult stay with your children if you can not keep an eye on them.
2) Have them stay inside.
3) Advise them to stay away from you. If that fails use a video camera to record their actions when they pass by your house. That way you could use it as evidence when you need to file a restraining order against them
