I could walk to a Catholic Church, which is just across the street from the Episcopalian Church. Or I could walk to a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, an Assembly of God Church, a Foursquare church, a Lutheran Church, a Church of Christ, a Seventh Day Adventist church, a Methodist Church, a Baptist church, a Christian Science reading room , a Baha'i meeting place, a Zen setting group. Interesting, no Jewish Temple or Muslim Mosque in my little town.

I will be driving about 15 miles to attend a Unitarian Universalist service today, where my parents are members.

I'm not sure the denominations, but I've got 2 or 3 churches within 2 miles of my place. But the house that I grew up in was surrounded by churches. Within 2 miels there were 4 churches plus two schools who's cafeterias were home to fledgling church services every week.

There's a Presbyterian church right nearby, another Presbyterian church just down the hill, a Lutheran church a little further along, and a Catholic church about twenty minutes' walk away.

In the other direction, there are a couple more little protestant churches about 15 minutes away, but I can't recall what denomination.

Well I live out in the boondocks, so I'll choose some within 7 mi. of me. There's a Quaker meeting house, 4 Baptist Churches, 1 Catholic Church, 2 AME Zion Churches, and 2 Methodist Churches. The Kingdom Hall for Jehovah's Witnesses is about 10 mi from me.

I love living in the U.S. Where else can I have such diversity for religious freedom, celebrate Eid, Hannakuh, and Christmas and be able to have Chinese food on Christmas.
I'M LOVVIIINNNN' IT!

I live across the street from an Orthodox Synagogue. Three blocks down the street is another Orthodox synagogue. A Lutheran church is a couple more blocks down.

I believe they have popped up so quickly over the past 5-10 years so they can spread more christianity throughout the region and wipe out atheism. I've noticed lots of small non-denominational organizations in my area. Its nice to have a pick, but how educated, open-minded, and real spiritual are these pastors, religious leaders? No one gets my dollar and my participation unless they are genuine and the above.

There is a small Baptist Church with in one mile from my home. It was built in the 1800's out of large stone. It use to be a one room school house also. In warm weather the kids used to come down the mountain and drink out of a spring that is on my property.

A Mormon church one block north, and another Mormon church five blocks or so east and north, and on and on...

What? Yeah, well at least they're not Baptist churches. But the downside of that is, my wife has to drive across town to get her church.
