I know that the Kurds have wanted their own homeland for years, and why shouldn't they have one? We helped Israel form its own nation. The Kurds have been brutalized by the Turks for years. I thought the U.S. stood for freedom around the world, not just where it was convenient for us. The Kurds in Iraq are our allies. They have been the most loyal group to us in the war on terror.

Turkey has had problems with Kurdish rebels for many years. They had hoped that the US in Iraq would step up and stop the attacks across the northern border, we haven't, unfortunately there is still a group or groups of Kurds that want their own country and they claim parts of turkey as part of it.

kurds are a foolish group.they can live in peace with turkey, iraq or iran. they should understand the reality.i think if israil rule them with hot iron rod they could realize what is peace.
