They are "instant coffee" and are available in any supermarket. Brands include Tasters Choice, Folgers, and lots of supermarket names.
They are made by brewing regular coffee and then freezing that brewed coffee in a vacuum chamber.

Its really just instant coffee. They say freeze dried as that is the process which creates some instant coffees. You can get any jar of instant coffee at any corner or grocery store.
You do not have to use one that is specifically freeze dried it's only a process, it tastes the same as any other instant coffee.
