or a different time? Most of hte churches where I live have it
at 5 in the afternnoon!

Oh, it's Midnight Mass, it starts at midnight but there's an hour 'show' by our choir while people get seats. It's very nice, the church is dimlit and there's candles and flowers, it's beautiful.

It usually runs an hour and a half instead of an hour because of the volume of people that attend, but I haven't missed it in 8 years, I love it.

I'm an Anglican, but...

we have Midnight Mass at 11! lol. But that timing works out so that the actual consecration of the bread and wine => Christ's Body and Blood happens at about midnight.

I think we have it @ midnight, but we also have an Anticipatory Mass (before the one @ midnight) and then another one on Christmas day @ noon. God Bless. Peace.
