Reflecting upon the death of Jesus can create profound feelings of sadness, especially when we consider how he humbled himself and was obedient unto death in order to save sinful humanity. And yet, too, it evokes in us feelings of joy, because we see the glory and majesty of the risen Christ and understand that he died for us, for you and for me.
Eleven years ago, just before Easter, I became a Christian and it was this very realisation that finally brought me to my knees in humility and adoration. Thank you for sharing this with us - especially at this time when people sometimes forget why Jesus was born.

Why do you feel so much sadness for one person being executed , but not the other two ? Isn't one human life equal to another ?
All three broke Roman laws and were executed according to the law , at the time .
Jesus did not die for any sins except his own . He was executed for claiming to have powers greater than the Emperor . That was a no-no at the time .
You can learn history from a genuine history book or a bible. You can believe a genuine history book or the bible .

I can understand anyone feeling sadness when reading about the death of someone, but let's not forget that the story of Jesus is a myth. It never really happened.
No water into wine.
No raising Lazarus
No walking on water
No miraculous feeding of the 5000 (or the 4000)
No crucifixion
No resurrection
Nothing like it
Only myth

Good question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I went to see the Passion of Christ, I cried for 98% of the movie. Then, I heard the song, "I can only imagine" (by Mercy Me) on the way home, and there was a full moon in the sky. I cried on the way home, too. But in all that sadness, I also realized what God did for me, by allowing the sacrifice of His only begotten Son. And once you realize that, they become tears of joy, knowing that Jesus has gone to heaven to prepare a place for you and me. (And all believers!)
Crying is an emotion that some people don't get to feel, or understand. I see it as the ability to know God. Kind of like the Holy Spirit laying upon our hearts, the magnitude of that ultimate sacrifice.
Be glad and rejoice in the fact that Jesus is now in heaven waiting. He is no longer in pain. It's sad, yes, that He had to die. But that's conviction tugging on your soul. Let it happen, naturally, and then be grateful, and appreciate the little things in your life now.
God bless you. And thanks for the question!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were really studying such a thing, you would have come across the original religious stories on which Jesus' story is based.
Do some research on Horus, Attis, Dionysus, and Krishna.
You should have also realized that his Resurrection story is 100% astrological.

You can grief for the pain Jesus was in. But more joyful that he is still alive and sitting beside God. And we are in his hands now. You should rejoice that he was killed and came back because that is what made this event big enough to still be around for us to know about 2,000 years later.

No, it's a made up story. Only morons really believe this garbage. Jesus never really existed and the very idea of someone being raised from the dead is utterly ridiculous.

These are just bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales dear. I do rejoice when I read that we can fly to Treasure Island with Peter Pan but I think we should not overdo it...
