You might find this question silly, but it's really bothering me. I got many Kurbans from my family and neighbours and I respect that. I know that Kurban meat that someone gave you is to be eaten and not to be thrown away or passed on to someone else (at least that's what I've heard), but I was wondering what does one do with the bones?

I said this will sound silly, but I don't want to do something that the people who gave me that meat might find offensive.

Help please! And I'd really like it if I could hear it from Muslims only. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that scraps are not part of the meat meant to not be thrown away. I think it refers more to not wasting the meat, but I could be wrong. Nobody eats bones anyways, lol, so I'm pretty sure bones, gristle and fatty parts are permissible to throw away. I'll star it to see if any of my friends know...

I think the meat is the important part. But you could always make a broth, or a stock, that's always nice.

you can give it to anyone you like. There is nothing wrong in it.
