Anyone who is suggesting that you can deep fry a whole turkey in the microwave is insane. I deep fry them myself, and I know it is intrinsically dangerous. I do mine out side the house, with a fire extinguisher and an extra person to wield it in case of emergency. Do not attempt to bring enough oil to the temperature required to fry a bird (between 325 and 375 degrees F). You will most certainly burn. If you are unfamiliar with frying, microwaves, and/or cooking in general, I would strongly urge that you not try something like this. Have someone who is knowledgeable help with the proper cooking of your turkey.Please.

No.

You can only deep fry OUTSIDE the house in a huge pot.

You could cook a turkey in a microwave, but it would come out terrible.

I can't think of a non-metal container that would hold the hot oil required to fry anything in a microwave. Is there a plastic that won't melt at that temp? What a mess it would make in there.

I do not believe you can fry a turkey in the microwave but you can cook one.

ok.... look at your question.... 'fry' and 'microwave' are the key words and they dont even come close to matching.

to fry a turkey you need a deep turkey fryer. you can defrost a turkey in the microwave..but thats about it.

You could...if your microwave wasn't plugged in and it was sealed off and over a fire and filled with oil...but otherwise I don't think it would work!

theoretically you can, if you had a big enough microwave to heat enough oil, and to keep that oil at the proper temperature.....
