How did you get it back?

They did only one time and they tracked it down and brought it out to me. I've flown a lot and I've only had my bags lost that one time and it was dealt with promptly...guess I've been blessed in that area as it seems a lot of people lose their bags while flying.

Yes, I flew from Sydney, Australia to London, England, a few years ago and both my bags did not get on the same flight!
I reported it and about a week later they were personally delivered to my home, but both locks had been cut off and you could tell that someone had gone through my stuff (ba#$%@ds).

Yep, told the Air Canada right away and they found it within a few hours and said that I'd have it within 24 hours at my house and sure enough 23:55 minutes later my door bell rang at 11:00 PM it was some jerk expecting a tip with my luggage. BTW he didn't get one.

Yes, I have. Contact the airline's baggage office at the airport. If they determine that it was not on your flight, they'll deliver it to your home or hotel depending on where you are.
