If you were going to drive a car from, say, Newcastle upon Tyne to Hell, what route would you take? What is the distance and how long would it take to drive? At what point do you cross from the realm of the living to the realm of the expired? What goods and supplies would you take on the journey? Do you need documentation and if so what and where do you obtain it? Any special precautions or observations?

You would best be driving to Dover, then taking the ferry to Calais. From there you would have to drive across Europe to Turkey, then into Western Asia.

From there, many routes are available into Eastern Asia (take your pick). You will be looking to get to Singapore where with much difficulty, you should be able to get your car on a ferry to Indonesia.

If you survive Indonesia and can make it as far as Jakarta, you might be lucky and somehow convince the authorities on both sides to allow you to transport your car to Darwin, Australia.

From Darwin, it is a fairly boring drive to Melbourne, where you can get a vehicular ferry to Tasmania. The ferry lands in Devonport and from Devonport, It is only a short drive to the Florentine valley.

Through the Florentine flows the Styx river. You may have to ditch your car here and grab an inflatable raft or canoe and take to the water.

Legend has it that the Styx river crosses the boundary from the living to the dead and that it winds its way around hades (hell) 9 times. This should be plenty of time(s) to bring your canoe to rest at the shores of hell.

bibliophile1954 is right. His answer is simple and correct. The route you would take: would be the things you did as an excuse to reject Jesus.
The distance: would be a distance in time, you don't drive there, silly goose! - how long would be how long you lived while doing so. 30,40, 50 years
At what point would cross from the realm of the living to the realm of the expired? That's easy - At your death.
What goods and supplies? uh, nothing would help.
That old saying, " you can't take it with you" would basically cover everything physical. So material possessions are meaningless (they will all be left behind) The same goes for documentation. Any special precautions or observations?
Well there is 1 thing you can do...See the answer to the 1st question - then you can easily figure out what to do yourself.

I'll just answer the question. The rest of what you added is very confusing. The road to hell is not accepting Jesus atonement on the cross at Calvary. Jesus died for our sins but we can't receive this gift of salvation if we don't accept it.
You need to make Jesus your Lord and Savior to avoid the road to hell.

There's no such thing, but if you drove to your death, and you had done really bad things (I'm talking BAD) the you are most likely to go to hell. You wouldn't need any goods or supplies. But it is hot, dirty, and mean. The worst thing is you have to live there for eternity.

You would have to take the Chunnel

The road to Hell is paved, not with good intentions only, but especially with rationalizations

You would have to drive out of the state of grace

Head for any major metropolis...NY, LA, Vegas...lower yourself down to the dregs of the earth that have stopped caring about anything other than self and you will be on the road to Hell.

The road to hell is the wide and broad path. The narrow path is the one to heaven.
