This article by a level headed, thinking Muslim ending with the words: "So let us leave the traditional Christmas alone. In a nation with such a rich Christian heritage it is entirely appropriate that this celebration is Christian." shows what arrant nonsense is being fed to us by secular manipulators who suggest that Christmas is offensive to people of other faiths. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml;jsessionid=DI2JNWQTAPUI3QFIQMFSFFWAVCBQ0IV0?xml=/opinion/2007/12/23/do2311.xml

I'm a Muslim and I agree with her 100%.

What was even worse was that a few years ago, shops were told to stop seeling Hot Cross Buns at Easter in case it offended non-Christians.

Talk about a load of b*llocks!!!

I really wish these PC people would stop thinking for us!!!

People pushing atheism in the public sphere want to get rid of all religious trappings, not just the Christian ones. Since it is easy to exploit the differences between religions, these same people find it amusing to dominate the scene with their pc tripe. They are using the tried and tested, 'divide and rule' approach.

The stupid thing is, the secular types have nothing positive to offer people on the spiritual side, except an increasingly sordid, divided and violent society where lives have no value other than in monetary terms.

Come on out to the middle east and see how Christmas gets celebrated especially in (horror of all horrors) Iran!

That we are shocked by a Muslim standing up for Christmas shows how we are all being manipulated by the provocative and extremely loud voices of a few less than Muslim Muslims !

What we have here is a 'normal' or non radical Muslim.
I bet there are millions of them out there.
Let their voices be heard.

Give a loud cheer for them and wish them a very merry season which is called Christmas in many countries.

MizB I saw Hot Cross Buns for sale yesterday. Talk about taking the Easter out of bakery.

This is an extremely and almost unheard of "approval" by a Muslim and it is refreshing to see a British Muslim allowing the country he lives in to celebrate the birth of Christ as they have done for hundreds of years.

Xmas is not offensive to Muslims. My man is Muslim and he loves Xmas too. Its the media and the pc brigade that stir up hatred between people.

Christmas is for pagans, so this is entirely appropriate.

It's nice when anyone's accepting of another religion.

Too bad X-mas isn't a Christian holiday - it's a pagan holiday.
