I have no idea but have accepted it as a fact.

The aroma is one of my favorite smells in the world. But when I drink any coffee it gives me heartburn so I am never tempted to actually drink any.

You are not alone in thinking that. I really enjoy the aroma of coffee but the taste is a poor second to that. No it is not even second... maybe 23rd. I also read somewhere that Charles Dickens the author thought so as well. And so I continue to drink tea, but I like to drink it in surroundings that have coffee aroma. I go to cafes and coffee shops and order a tea to drink. I get a pleasant drink and the wonderful scent of coffee.

Actually it smells as bad as it tastes! I've had an aversion to coffee since I was young, therefore the bias but bias aside, the same thing can be said of cooking-a dish smelling divine but altogether disappointing; taste-wise.

I buy Frangelica and LaManita from Crown Tower Coffee and Tea and it isn't terrible! It is amazing! I had to get the measurements down...but once I did! WOW! You may want to change your coffee...or like me I add so much sugar and cream that is how I handle the taste...of regular coffee!

You haven't acquired a taste to it.
Coffee tastes so good as long as you buy a decent brand, not that Folgers crap.
