Wow your question hit a nerve until I was able to read the details. lol Yes they are worthy of all that and more. When I see a military person in uniform I ALWAYS say "Thank you". There is a program that Xerox is sponsoring that allows us to send Thank you Ecards for free. It's great! Children drew the cards and all we have to do is click on a card and it's sent to a soilder. I'm not sure how to copy links, but go to www.LetsSayThanks.com and pick out a card to send. It only takes a few minutes. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! Aaahhh..I have to edit. RT that's a sad sad and pathetic attitude. I hope there aren't too many of you around.

We as regular citizens seem to believe that the men and women in the military base their performance as Hero`s on what we say & do ... I`m sure an "atta boy" every now and then will catch their ear , but they are professionals` and really all they need is their comrades` in arms along side them for all the support they need ! Our military is a special family of "brothers" & sisters`" that all have the same objective ,risking their lives fighting the enemies of the USA while watching each others` back , and prayerfully they will all come home to a better and safer USA ! Someone who has never been in the military has no clue as to what it takes to be a soldier ! God Bless our Military for the guarantee that we as regular citizens are free to say Merry Christmas !

I want to say from my tent in Iraq "YOUR WELCOME" may you and your families have a Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year!
I also want to say to the negative responses: (who I normally pay no mind to)
Isn't this a GREAT NATION that affords you the freedom to say what ever you want and not have to worry about your government smashing in your front door and hauling you away? I say that because if you were in another country (no need to mention which ones) you would be in a world of hurt right now!

There is absolutely nothing that I can say which will equate to what our military men and women are worth, not just at this time, but at every time during the year. In my travels, and I travel a lot by air, whenever I see a person in uniform, I do not hesitate to say a quick "Thank you for your service."

You would be surprised to see the wonderful smile it puts on their faces. They do so much for us. They sacrifice so much for us. They offer so much for us. It is only by their help that we are able to sit in our warm homes and complain about our own woes.

Next time you are thinking about how much your feet hurt, imagine them in combat boots, marching 20 miles a day.

Next time you are complaining about how much your backside hurts from sitting so long, imagine you have nothing but the steel seat of a tank to sit on.

Next time you think about how you dislike the food being served, think about eating a K-Ration or C-Ration or even a MRE in some far off location apart from your wife, husband or child.

Next time you are whining about how poor of sleep you got last night, imagine you are thousands of miles from your own country, sleeping away from your loved ones, on a military cot or in the sand.

If you do this, I am sure you will find a tear coming to your eye, in honor of the brave men and women who are serving your country in the military. And, while you muttering a prayer for them, with humble thanks, please also say one for the family who they have left behind, for they too are deserving for their sacrifice.

I hope this helps explain my feelings, just a little bit.

Well, considering they are defending your rights to freely bash them, I think all you "cowards" owe the US Military a deep, heart felt apology but, of course, that would be asking way to much. Selfishness gets you no where. Thank you to the supporters and the haters can go to hell.

A quick bloodless VICTORY without interference from the far left wing,a fat pay raise and all the praise we can give them.
One Private in the military is worth 100 liberal Congressmen.
