Our Christmas celebration was delayed due to bad weather. I have a fresh ham that has to wait 2 weeks for dinner. Will it keep it the fridge that long or due I need to freeze it?

Freeze it - depending upon the size of the ham, take it out of the freezer 2 or 3 days before you intend to cook it.

No way a fresh ham will last two weeks in the fridge - unless it's a ham in a cryo-vac bag. I'd probably freeze those too.

How To Keep Ham Fresh

Fresh meats are no longer good after 7 days of refrigeration- freeze it, then thaw out in fridge 3 days prior to your dinner. You can also take the time defrosting it to give it some flavor; rub a little basil or apricot jam on it!

As a Food and Beverage Director...I recommend to cook the ham and then put it in the fridge...Will last longer...but wait for a week, you will extend the shelf life of the Ham ...
Uncooked meat such as ham..will last about 7-10 days in the fridge. before they begin to loose they flavor and texture.
If the ham is vacumm sealed and it has been refrigetared, you will not need to cook it..It will last for weeks.. as long as is vacumm sealed...
Good Luck

If you keep it in the wrapping you shuold be ok. You can always go by the sell by date too. You should not use it 3 days after the sell by date. That is what I was always told.
