Sins are forgiven when you are truly sorry

Jesus dieing for our sins is not a free ticket to willfully sin. It doesn't work that way. To truly be forgiven of ones sins, one must change his life style, his words, his very being. Like, If I was a drunkard, I went to bars everyday. Spent all my money on the women and booze. Barely worked a job and let my family go hungry and cold. But then I got saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, I would work my job the best I could. I would feed and keep my family above all else. I would stop drinking, going to bars, and stop playing the women. I would become a different and better person.

The forgiveness that is in Jesus Christ is conditional upon "repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 20:21). It is a gift that God offers to everyone, but individuals must receive it by repenting and trusting in Christ, or they will remain dead in their sins. No one has biblical grounds to continue in sin, assuming that they are safe just because Jesus died on the cross. See 1 John 3:4–6.

You misunderstood.
Put simply, Jesus died to cleanse the sins of his followers, not to cleanse the sins of those who do not follow him.
Jesus will be your judge and he alone will judge whether you go to heaven or hell. If you say you believe in him, I expect he will look for evidence to see whether you really do or not. If you say you believe in him, but in your life you murdered people, committed adultery, oppressed the poor etc then he would probably judge that your pious words were empty and even an insult to him, (actually making your situation worse).

believing does not mean just acknowledging...it is so hard to put into words...I was a christian for a few years and had I died would have gone to hell! yep. I believed in Jesus and went to church and blah blah blah, but inside I had no change...then I had a real experience....without going into all the personal trials that led to it I'll just say the stuff hit the fan in my life and I came to a crossroads...I realized that I was never relying on God and I was talking a talk I didn't feel deep in my soul (although I had very emotional moments in church and because of that felt I was in Gods grace...) I realized all the selfish ways of myself and the things I was doing that if God was real He would be too holy for me to be in His presence. I prayed so hard to be shown if it was real...Are you real God? Is this just a puppet show or what? I prayed for forgiveness with a sincerity that I never felt before. Let me tell you...The Holy Spirit filled me...like a white liquid light of pure love and I changed. It was not like a little alter call, fill out a form and now I am a Christian so I'll join the choir and go to heaven if I die. It was a total eye opening, life altering, I am on fire to do good for mankind and get out of church and start being the church and what do you need because I want to fill your need type of conversion! The experience of Jesus is life altering and you become Love. If someone says they are Christian and are not love manifest in your presence then I would question whether they really are a follower of Jesus...

Just thinking that you can kill someone & still beleive in Jesus can get you into heaven, forget it, No, Satan also believes in Jesus, & he is not going to heaven, Now if you have killed someone while a sinner & God deals with your soul. yes if you ask God to forgive you of all your sins, then God will, Your past is still there(As a Murderer to the Public), But your future will be with God. So just believing in Jesus Christ will not save you & if you are save, you won't go out here to a bar somewhere & shoot someone.

Believing in Jesus is more than an intellectual assent. It entails accepting Him and His way of life - that is a life free from sin. We may slip occasionally but the attempt must continue just like the athlete who continues till he succeeds. He is there to provide the power to live a sinless life.

"No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us." (Rom. 8:37)

If you are having difficulty with this concept then you will be truly amazed at what they will expect you to believe as you get deeper into Christianity.
Of course it isn't as easy as that as some have said before. One question you may ask is when will these 'sins' be forgiven. Will it be when you die, before you die, whilst you are waiting to go to heaven or hell or as you enter.
You'll get loads of different answers to this and other questions.
You'd better sort out which denomination first and then ask them. I suggest you go to your nearest church, for convenience sake. and then ask them.

Yes that is correct.

But you left out the word repentance. The only sin not forgiven is the one against the spirit. So if you choose to kill some one and repent afterwards it does not work.

There is a vast difference between deliberate sinning and accidental sinning. Deliberate sinning, as a Christian, will almost certainly negate any possible hope of forgiveness. Accidental sinning is always forgivable, e.g. swearing when smacking your thumb with a hammer, instead of the nail. Go well, and God Bless!
