I have so far seen 14 replies to your question. and the more the answers, I am sure the more you will be confused.
Let's ask a logical question to ourselves: Can we call any one on the stree or mom or dad? Can we go and work in any company and get paid by antoher company. Certainly not. Similarly, you can't call or worship anybody, except the one who created you. Let's do beyond names. But the one worthy of worship is the creator of this humanity and the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them.
Now, let's reveiw what other religions say:
Christianity: Jesus (Question: Has Jesus created you - no He himself was created and was born to Mary and died as human being and in bible was telling all the Jews to worship only one God or father).
Hinduism: There is not one God, but a multiplicity of Gods, in fact more gods than the humanity, all dummy gods. And the real Hindu Scriptures like Vedas says, you should worhip the one real God that does not has any form.
Buddism: They even doubt if there is a God or Not. But some worship Buddah himself. funny
Islam: O ye people! Adore your Guardian Lord, Who created you and those who came before you, that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness; (AlQuran chapter two verse 21)
Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the Night and the Day; in the sailing of the ships through the Ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds and the clouds which they trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth, (here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.
It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand?
I think the above answers your question, you may contact me for more details:

I believe in a power greater than myself, which I choose to call Higher Power. I support your right to religious freedom. AND I embrace my own freedom FROM religion.

buddhism.
it doesnt explain as much creation as it explains how we should live right now.
its all about living in the now.
and it can be combined with other religions because its very philosophical and allows you to have other gods. buddhism can be polytheist, monotheist, or atheist
