I know, it was like at Easter, when I told my son (after he had eaten his dinner) that we had just scoffed the Easter bunny.
Kids who'd have them eh?
I tell you no sense of humour.

ITS ALWAYS BEEN A WEIRD CONCEPT TO ME ?
a big fat jolly man in a red suit creeps into your bedroom while you are sleeping, and he does this with all the kids all over the world.
i can't see you've done anything wrong other than teaching your kids a reality check, and maybe saved yourself a few quid.
FATHER OF TWO! WHO WILL NOT BE SPOILT ON JESUS' BIRTHDAY WHILE THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE STARVING IN THE THIRD WORLD.
and by the way my avatar is symbolic of my passion on the subject, gollywogs, should never have been removed from the back of robertsons jam jars.
BILLY KING: tis the season to be cheerful and drunk during the day, have a cracker mate.

You need to grovel to your kids, sit them down and tell them you didnt mean it and that you was just being a silly daddy. if they wont listen to reason try get someone to talk to them and tell them they will see them selfs christmas day that santa is ok because he would have bought them there gifts..
Its sad enough when your kids do stop believing santa, but to have your daddy tell you a story like this, its not how its meant to be.
I hope they are young enough to forget what you said and will forgive you.

It's fun making children cry Bob, don't feel bad about it. I like standing about 3 inches away from my 1 yr old nephews face just before he wakes up with my Gollum mask on then screaming BLAHHHHRRRGGGHHH! I don't feel bad.

Ok, so admittedly I'm probably in the minority of people who will find this amusing, but I've always had a fairly obscure sense of humour...
Sorry folks, but I think that's pretty damn funny.
Merry Christmas x

sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. better thinking that than finding out he's really just a made up concept to boost sales at this time of year.
