I downloaded a text typed in the word2007 , but I have word 2003 and I can't see the text in correct form , and I can't get the word2007 , so what should I do ?

Since you have older Office products installed, download the compatibility pack from Microsoft. It is free.

You can get Word Viewer here. It will open a Word document even if you don't have Word installed. Also, on this page find the link to download the compatibility pack for Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. That will insure you can open new document formats created with Word 2007.

2003 does not recognize 2007. 2007 will open 2003 documents because it is a more recent version. Older Office versions cannot open newer versions. Sorry.

You could you print the document, then retype it in 2003.

There is a file format converter program in "MICROSOFT" website that creates for 2003 users to convert 2007 files (world, excel ... ). Also that program is free. try to download FileFormatConverters.exe from microsoft website.

Try right clicking on the document before you open it. It might work.
