We are having chicken and bbq ribs for Christmas. Here are a couple of recipes I'm making for a sidedish.I also like making 7 layer salad and a cranberry salad/relish.Son is bringing appetizers.
Broccoli Casserole
6 cups cooked broccoli
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 pinch paprika
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
Put the broccoli in a baking dish.
Mix all the other ingredients except the cheese.
Spread on of broccoli.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Cook at 350°F degrees until cheese is melted.
You can also do this recipe by adding leftover chicken with the broccoli, it is really a delight.

Baked macoroni and cheese, baked beans, potatoe salad, grilled vegtables.
For a special lo-cal treat, season whole vegtables, wrap them in aluminum foil, and then grill them right along with your ribs on the barbecue grill. They are very tasty!!!!

Well I think traditional dishes like bakes beans, cole slaw, buttermilk biscuits, or corn bread, are great with bbq food. Corn on the cob or cajun style beans and rice are good too.

A spicy rice dish always goes well. I have one that, if you'd like it, email me personally, and I will give you the recipe. It has Smoked Sausage, Bacon, onions, and is based in a tomato sauce. It goes over very well when I take it to church potlucks, and often there is nothing left in the dish when its time to go. I'd be happy to give it to you if interested.
