U don't need a religious group to join, but it would be great if u could find a group of people who worship in Spirit & in truth, try going on line to find places in ur area that worship as u do.
Not a church, for we r the church the body of Christ, the church is not a building never has been & never will be. But finding people to praise, worship, fellowship & pray with is good for ur walk with God.
I wish u the best, because here in Indianpolis I have not found a place where born-again believers could attend that doesn't fellow pagan feasts & festibles like ?Xmas & Easter, & i have looked for over 30 yrs.

Are you asking if you should join an "organized religion"?

My advice would be NO.

I have been a member of an organized church in the past, but I no longer feel the need for anyone to tell me what to believe, or to practice meaningless ceremonies, or to mouth prayers out of a book that I don't really mean, or to give my money to their organization.

I will not say that I am not religious - I think that everyone would be better off developing their own beliefs about God, and establishing a personal relationship with God.

Why should we need someone to tell us what to do? We have perceptions and brains as good as theirs - why don't we just use our God-given abilities rather than depending on these organized institutions?

After all, organized religions have been used as tools to control people's behavior for thousands of years - it's about time we learned how to break free and develop our own personal religions.

The answer is yes. God intended for man to worship him together. With so many religions and sects it hard to tell which one to attend. Read Hebrews 10:24, 25.

Ask yourself which group love all people, do not participate in wars, are peacable, love to God's kingdom as the real answer, accept Christ as the ransomer for man and do not commit fornication/adultery/theft etc...

Once you find that group, worship with them. There u will be encouraged and supported as we struggle in these last days(2 Timothy 3:1-5).

Not at all. The one thing that everyone here has in common is a wish to talk about religion and spirituality.

Not necessarily.. It is just great to be with people with the same belief and choice. It is wonderful to do things in Unison. The most important thing is the faith in God.

You've already left the light and now you are standing in the shadows. I suggest you take a jump to the left and join me over here on the dark side (I have the REAL truth).
