#4 is wrong, you increase your following distance. Most folks drive too close together anyway, more distance is always better when driving.

#6 doesn't read well. If you are going slower than posted speed, most likely the idiot in front of you is well out of sight. However, if you are in heavy traffic, and it is moving slowly, you may decrease the space. The rule is "the faster your speed, the more following distance you need to react".

#4 You don't want to decrease your following distance, but you want to increase it in construction zones.
#5. Not too sure about within a state, but 10days sounds good for intrastate (within a state). When moving from another state, it's 30days.

#5 I'm not too sure about. I thought it was 30 days but in your state it may well be 10 days.
