Some do, though I don't think too many do. Many are lactose-intolerant, as for the majority of history cow by-products weren't consumed by Chinese people, and inheritance of the gene went unchecked. Also, I suppose the taste can be off-putting to some people who've never had it. Fermented cow milk...mmmm. ya know?
My mother likes string cheese a lot, and she's Chinese. However, another Chinese family we know don't eat cheese at all: they're lactose intolerant

Figure it this way, most Chinese outside of China do eat dairy product, there in Mainland China and Taiwan it is not as prevelent, now in Tibet and Mongolia they use more buter and have Yaks for milk, yougart and a fermented cheese like substance, I have know many chinese people and outside of China no matter were they moved alot do pick up on eating dairy products, but the Chinese in China are not as fond nor do they rely on milk, they may eat beef and all its parts, but milk is not the most popular item or ingredient in China.

what a silly question!!My friend is chinese, all my chinese friends eat cream cheese with bread sticks,
But I must admit that I don't like the smell of some specialist cheeses and I stop at the ones with the blue veins and/or mould!!

my family is chinese. if you mean in the cuisine, then there' really isn't cheese in the food. but if you mean whether the people like cheese or not, then is our preference in food only supposed to be limited to that of chinese food? do italian people only eat pizza and pasta?

Well, I don't see why not. They have cows in China, not to mention they it's probably imported too.
About traditionally, I'm not sure, but in the average Chinese family that's not the cliche family who only eats rice and such, probably yes.
