Actually, good question. That's the basis of all the Pascal's wager questions that get posted here. Every one of the people that posted it is basically saying they only believe so they don't go to hell. The reasons Pascal's wager doesn't work also apply to why they aren't true Christians. So, anyone who asks Pascal's wager is basically admitting they don't really believe, it's just insurance.

Sure. It doesn't matter why you came to believe. There is no justice in Christianity. You can kill fifty people, hit your head on the sink and think you saw Jesus, die, and up you go.
