Huh?
Guess it depends on which hand owns the finger in their nose when you are looking.
The better drivers focus on their task at hand, driving. No phones, no eating, no reaching to the rear for the baby, no turning the head to talk to bff, just driving. They are also rested and fit to drive.

No!
Because if are driving in a car with the drivers seat is on the left from the front ie a righthand drive car you use your left hand to change gear which needs little skill and are steering (far more important) with your right hand which in lefthanders is the weaker hand!!

No. This does not make 'em better drivers. However, the Morris & Stetson Research Institution has shown that left handed people are more challenged and slower at operating the radio and other center dash controls due to the fact it has to be done with the right hand. I made that up.

In the UK, the majority are right handed and the driver sits on the right hand side.
It has always seemed to me like the obvious place to keep your dominant hand is on the steering wheel.
