Wow so you're frustrated huh? See this is what gets me. You Atheists or non-Christians or whatever politically correct name you want now-a-days ***** and complain about how the Christians are trying to save you. So lets examine that last sentence of mine professor since you obviously can read and well you have done the research so that makes you the leading authority on something. I know you are the leading authority on spreading such "BULL$HIT". These people are just trying to help you if you don't want it ignore it!! Have you ever tried to examine the fact that for as much b1tchen and moaning all you nonbelievers do you could be putting that to better use. So you've tried to follow the Christian way huh? What you did it in hopes of getting something and then when you prayed for it and it didn't happen you said to hell with this religion and gave up right? So you can you stuck with it in an honest manor? All you've shown is that you've researched failure and mastered it.

Well I would really like to know about your research and what you came up with... If you believe it is a lie then I guess half the world is living a lie...kinda sad. However, you are wrong when you say that "we" haven't examined our beliefs. The ONLY way you can find out the truth is meet with God himself. Researching on the internet and using books and people as resources is NOT a reliable resource. If you look for information about Christianity using these sources, and you are hoping to find them false...you are usually finding info agaist Christianity. And I'm sure you can find ALOT of that everywhere, easily. So why not ask the most reliable source Himself....God. You don't have to believe me, but if you could just try to ask Him....and find the answer to his question. Of course you have to be willling to hear the truth. There is no point in asking if you want to prove it wrong. All you have to do is ask God to open Himself to you because you want to know the truth. If you ask with an open heart....you WILL find Him. Maybe not that same second...but you will!

By comparison, why don't you investigate and examine the government of the United States? That's a religion. It's called Statism. And people who worship that Religion place their hand over their heart and pledge faith to a piece of colored cloth representing a non-existent "Republic." They also say that their State is "under GOD," but what god? Maybe you should examine the fruits of U.S. Statism before thrusting an unfounded opinion that I, as a Messianic Yisraelite Citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, have not lived my faith.
Here, maybe this will help:
http://www.embassyofheaven.com/
It is my positive contention you have not even vaguely attempted to even "consider" becoming a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven because if you did you would have witnessed Scripture come true before your very eyes. You would've witnessed those who worship the State throw you in jail, confiscate your property, use and abuse you - and the misled SUNday church-goers would be the ones in total agreement with them because afterall they are ONE with the State too, they render ALL to Caesar, nothing to YHWH, just as you do now.
So you are simply confusing godless "State-Christianity," people like Bush, with the real thing. Is it any wonder why there are so many atheists (Statists) today?
Hey, Mr. Statist: Messiah brought us a Kingdom, not a state-favored religion incorporated under Caesar, the State.

I can almost hear the pain and anger in your words. Yet it also seemed a bit self righteous and pompus. You say you have done research? You silly man. How many more than you have done their homework? Do you not know that many facts in the Bible were once thought false and later, when history finally dug up evidince, found to be true.
But, I am glad you are mad and frustrated. I also applaude you for studying, but it sounds like you went outside of the Bible and its teachers for "truth." You went to Science, History, and Atheists to teach you the word and the truths it contains. This is akin to going to a prostitute and asking her to teach you about love. Sure she knows the word, but has never known it and she will teach you what she knows and it will cost you dearly (more ways than one).
I do wish you well and continue your search. The Bible promises that those who seek will find. Read C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity. Maybe this will help you.

My Friend,
You are absolutely right, I was an absolute Athiest till about two years ago. Then I met my wife, and was challenged in more ways then one to find the truth, and Christianity as a whole does not have it. I hear your pain, my wife was a Pentacostal, the lovey ewy gewy sticky I love Jesus stuff, but when I actually researched it I realized that there did have to be a God because,
1 To say that we just evolved would be like putting a bomb in a junk yard and having it blow up, produce you a porche that can reproduce itself talk and all the rest
2There is a deffinite segregation of the species, for some reason our dna does not allow us to reproduce with other species, which alligns with the biblical account
3If you understand thermodynamics, you understand that the galaxy in this closed system we call the universe will eventually run itself out, Check out half life and life giving radioactive materials, there is an explosion echo that radiates through the universe, however if one radioactive icetope changed we would not be here
4There are no intermediate species as darwin thought there would be in the earths crust
5Information transfer and change has thus far been impossible without pre programming, why can dear walk in days and baby's take years?
Trust me dude it was hard on me to then I got to protestantism, started to enjoy it and then did my research on them. Their beliefs don't aggree with the bible at all, they have a piece of the truth but they take alot out of context, when god said in deutoronomy 12:30-32 not to worship him like the pagans worship their god he meant it, when god said to man and women in the garden if they ate they would surely die he meant it. and the bible doesn't contradict itself as most religions seem to do with it. Catholocism believes that the holy church has the ability to change anything. That would disagree with the scripture when it says "Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever" Heb 13:8
I really implore you not to give up on life but to put a new focus on it really get down and dirty with this stuff and trust me new meaning will sprout, e-mail me if I can help at all. God bless my friend

I'm sorry you are feeling this way. You sound depressed. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. You have quite a heritage awaiting you and don't even realize it! Did you know that we are really sons and daughters of God? Earth is our first stepping stone to much, much more.
I realize that the Bible has many errors in it and it is hard to piece together the facts in such a fragmented book. There is another book that you can read that explains everything more clearly about the life awaiting us when our life here ends. It truly is a grand universe adventure. Our Father is a God of love. There is no hell or place or eternal torment to fear. Have a read of the book from the link below. Don't read the forward first. It's very confusing until you have read some of the book and understand what it all means.

Researching through your natural understanding will not reveal the truth to you. You must be born again by the Spirit of God who then reveals the truth to you. You've "tried" to follow our beliefs and failed because you can't do it in you own power, own way nor own strength. It is but by the power of the Holy Spirit can one walk this walk. You will never know the TRUTH until you are born again.

The fact that this is what frustrates you most shows a great deal of our selfish nature and why religion is so powerful. There is something inside of us that seems to think the universe revolves around us. That all things are here with a purpose to serve the insanely selfish self. I claim to believe in nothing supernatural yet make claims daily of the universe being out to get me. Like if a cup falls off of the counter I might rant for a few minutes about how impossible it was that it should happen. In spite of my understanding how hard it is to be alone, I agree with you that the promise of heaven is the cruelest injustice Christianity serves up to the thinking man.

You said you tried researching it before, but did you really? Research doesn't mean to look stuff up with a bunch of doubt on your mind. Seek and you shall find.
