The sign creates a force field which repels metal and also the sign houses a whole car airbag for extra protection

Baby on board sign is just to make other inconsiderate drivers aware there is a little person being on board not extra protection but driving with a baby in the car and a car on your bumper aint comfortable.

oh yea keeping baby on board is the best **** ever , i always take my brother with me so when i get pull over because of a ticket didn't pay , and my license is suspended . so when i get pull over for some reason they would let u go , might write u a ticket for whatever movement u did . but like if there is a ticket u didn't pay , they can't arrest u or take the car cause of the safety of the babie . and they don't trust the idea (take u to jail and call someone to pick the babie at the station )cause it's dangerous .but hey good ided guys don't hit a car that have a sign baby on board .
one time my break went out so instead of hitting a chevy i hit the ford escort cause i drive one , and i iend up giving the guy my bumper and take parts out of my car to fix his ...wonder if i ad hit the chevy haha

The sign which really makes me want to throw up is "Little Princess on Board"!
What sort of message does that give to other drivers and to the Emergency Services?
There was an instance of a Fire Fighter who died in a blazing car, trying to rescue a non-existant baby so I believe that the UK should bring in legislation banning the use of the "baby on board" signs when baby is not on board.
I have a sign on my back shelf saying "Ex husband in boot"

they are trying to change the law so that you only display a baby on board sign if the child is in the car, reason is if the car leaves the road the emergency services are wasting time thinking a baby may have been chucked from the car in the crash

Two things -

how many times to do you see a baby on soard sign in the back of a car and no children in it??

Does baby on board signs mean that you can drive as you like cause I have seen alsorts of idototic driving from people with these signs in there cars.

to answer the question now I'v got that off my chest - no usless the little bit of foam in the back window acts as some sort of buffer?

I believe that the reason people put the baby on board sign on a car is that if there is an accident then people will look for that first. Another reason for that is to explain occasional erratic driving. (turning around to make sure they are ok etc.)

If you think it is ok to crash into an unsigned car then you are going to get into a lot of trouble! I wouldn't be happy if you crashed into me!

Originally baby on board signs where so if you had an accident fireman know there is a child that may be trapped in a tiny space, In some American states it is illegal to display the sign if the child is not in the car. Unfortunately in this country people seem to use it as an advertisement for their fertility.

I used to laugh at these signs too, until I realised they were a warning that babies do distracting things that can take the driver's mind off the road. They are supposed to be a warning sign, rather than the "I have a child aren't I clever?" syndrome.

No! You must only crash into cars that bear that sign. Poodles on board is also acceptable
