For some reason I feel sorry for her because she seemed like a very nice girl and she could have went to school being someone different. My question is why do women choose such jobs exposing themselves? Don't they feel degraded? I dont understand...Is it just me or does everyone see strippers as hoes, sluts etc..I see strippers as normal human beings trying to make a living but why a stripper? She was so young too......:(

I don't know why people see strippers as hoes?! Just because a few of them chose to be does not mean that all of them are. its like just cus 1 guy is a jerk doesn't mean all guys are jerks! And yes we are just normal people. I am an entertainer and I love it. Not only do I do that though I also have a regular part time job and I go to school but if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be able to pay my school and have the things that I do. I don't understand why your friends would call her that when they were the ones who hired her so honestly I think that they should probably take a look in a mirror.

I know a stripper, and I went to see her dancing at the strip club with a couple of my girl friends (because girls can go too, it doesn't make them gay).
Most of the girls I spoke to said that they were in it for the money. It paid a lot more than any regular job could, and let me stress this; most strippers do not have sex with their clients. They are simply dancing sexily to get money for guys who are shallow enough to pay to watch it.
It's funny that your friends would hire a stripper, pay her, and call her a whore. If they think she's that disgusting, why do they want her giving them lapdances? I just think they don't understand it. When guys get together, they act on group mentality.
Strippers aren't stupid, are incredeibly talented, because they have to train their bodies to hold them like no other athlete, and I have respect for them. They deal with a lot.

The woman is doing it to pay bills, etc. Just wants and or may need fast easy money. She is one of those that is brave enough to do it. It is easier for her to shake her bottom rather than work a regular honest paying job.
It is what it is.... she is in that position by choice.
Irregardless, of her choice or her reasons, the title goes with her job description. Even if she is nice, beautiful, and or smart.
Now, your friends, and others that seek such services, are no different.
Look at it this way: they are contributing to her continuing to be a "hoe".
None of your friends hired her to give her advice or for an intervention. Noone asked her about her problems, etc.
And don't give me that crap about " For entertainment purposes Only". Yeah, at whose expense?
Reminder: This is a free world and people choose what they want to do with their lives.
So, don't feel sorry for her. " No victims here!" And don't be upset at your goody goody two shoes friends, either."

Maybe she is going to school or something else. Most strippers are just normal human beings working a job. Stripping is the easiest job and it pays well. I have had a couple of cousins do it. It payed the bills and also helped them attend classes. they now have good jobs. One is a manager of a prominent lawyer's office. The other became an accountant.

for you to feel sorry for already means you are degrading her and you do not see her as a normal person.
being a stripper is advantageous because they work for themselves, get paid way more than an average job, and they work less hours. in reality, it is harder to have sex with a stripper, because it is their job to be a fantasy and dodge the usual pervert.
in reality, there are many "once" strippers that paid their way through medical school and now are accomplished doctors. and there are many strippers who opened up accomplished businesses.
in reality, strippers that don't give other strippers bad names, are actually better people in quality because they are confident with their body and are physically fit. and are mentally strong against fake people and manipulative people. and are very goal-oriented to go through rigorous mental and physical hardships.
just like any discrimmination against "groups"... there are many strippers that fall into the "stripper mentality" of being a hoe/whore. but just like all discrimminations, not everyone in that group follows the generalizations.
you need to learn to be more aware and have more respect.

Like you said, it's a real shame when someone chooses to degrade herself for money. It's completely inappropriate to participate in this kind of entertainment, either as a stripper or a patron. In the future, I think you should stay away from this kind of party.

you are sweet. of course they feel degraded but they cant say anything because that is there job. and sometimes life isn't as simple as going to school to be somebody sometimes things happen and desperation takes over and the women have no real choices they have to either do things like that or starve. some women actually do it because they enjoy it, some do it for attention but most do it to make ends meet using the only thing they have to their advantage, looks.

Exactly why you said, to pay bills for school, drugs, for their children. A multitude of reasons. A better question is, why did your friends feel it was o.k. to treat her that way? You think it's wrong to be a stripper, but not to hire one. Why?
