Olive oil is one of those magical substances that is good for almost everything--your diet, your skin, your hands and nails, and your hair. Prized for its cosmetic uses since ancient times, olive oil is relatively inexpensive and can be purchased in most grocery stores.
Use extra virgin, as brands labeled "pure" and "light" have been chemically processed. Because the oil's fat composition is very similar to that of human skin, it rarely causes allergic reactions. In addition, it's absorbed quickly and helps lock in moisture in the skin. The high percentage of unsaturated fat and vitamins A and E, helpful in preventing sun damage, also work on the outside to soothe and replenish, particularly sensitive skin. It is also pure, and unmixed with anything but water, unlike other oils.
You may find you love this elixir enough to buy an attractive storage bottle so you can keep it in the bathroom rather than dragging the big container out of the kitchen every night. And if you don't like the smell, you can always mix it with a little of your favorite hand, body, or hair lotions.
* If you want to have smooth and fine nails olive oil is the best solution. Dowse your nails in a cup of olive oil for 30 minutes and find the best results.
* Apply Olive oil liberally on your hands. To avoid spreading it elsewhere wear cotton gloves. This method helps you to get a smoother and softer skin.
* Olive oil is the best solution for chapped lips. It does wonders to your lips.
* To have beautiful, lustrous, shiny, silky and dandruff free hair, olive oil is the best bet. You can apply good amount of oil on your hair and cover it with a shower cap for 30 minutes, later shampoo it.
* It is great moisturizing solution which makes your skin softer and smoother.
* To make yourself an interesting bathing solution you can add 3-4 tbsp of olive oil with a few drops of essential oil.
* You can make an excellent night cream by using 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup water. This helps to lighten your skin, kill bacteria and makes your skin smooth and clear.
* It can work as a cleansing cream if you have dry skin. Apply olive oil and then scrub with good amount of sugar. Later, wipe the sugar off your face with wet and warm cloth. One of the easiest ways to get facial done.
* Soften your feet by applying olive oil on your feet.
* Mix in bowl 1 egg, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp olive oil and few drops of rose water. Use this as a mask for dry skin. Once applied keep it for sometime, later rinse it off with warm water. Dab it dry.
* Make a paste by mixing some mashed apricots and warm olive oil. Apply this paste all over your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with water.

Extra virgin olive oil is good for your skin but coconut oil is better. Not all of them are the same though. If you're going to use it for beauty purposes like skin and hair, use this one: http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Extra-Virgin-Coconut-Oil/dp/B00DS842HS/?ie=UTF8&tag=600673-20
This is the #1 best selling, highest rated one with over 5,000 positive reviews. Olive oil is a pretty healthy form of fat and is also great for your skin and even hair but coconut oil has more benefits if we're talking about beauty purposes. For cooking, I prefer to use olive oil but for skincare and haircare, I use coconut oil. It's healthy for you both inside and out.
If you're experiencing good results with olive oil already, I still recommend trying out coconut oil as well, it's amazing especially if you use this specific one...

Yes....extra olive oil is good for you ...internal and external...add a bit of organic coconut oil or butter to the mix and you will glow...and your skin will be really terrific...and you will also be amazed at how ridiculous it is to buy commercialized lotions. YOU could make the ultimate skin ( remember the skin the the largest organ that eliminates toxins)....by simply keeping organic extra virgin olive oil right next to you shower...add the organic coconut oil in with your nightly routine...and yes...YOU will get the benefit of it...all in plant form...
If you can eat it and it good for you then it is good for your skin...
BE WELL!

Girls, do not use VASELINE on your face, never, ever, never… go with some healthier solution!!! I did a stage make up with Vaseline as a base on my face…God, what a mistake!!!! Now I’m suffering from acne…yep, my baby smooth face skin turned to be, disaster. Well, we learn from mistakes.
Again, do not use Vaseline on your face!!!!!
