Leave him to it! It's not what he says goes. It's what you believe and feel in your heart that matters. Religion is a pain in the back side, we are currently living a religion hell as we speak in my opinion. There's too much violence and war over it. :o)

Stupid people make stupid statements and find even more stupid people that agree with them.
The pope did not say there was no limbo.
The very first sentence of the document signaled an important distinction when it spoke of the "hierarchy of truths" in Catholic doctrine. The teaching on limbo was among those never addressed by Scripture and never defined as dogma and is therefore subject to theological development, it said.
The discussion is about unbaptized babies that have had no opportunity to choose for or against God. It is thought that God’s justice and mercy would apply.
The question of the unbaptized person who has denied the knowledge is different question. That person may deny God and go to hell but still lacking full acceptance of God may not be able to be in the full presence of God but does not deserve the pains of hell. This is where the concept of limbo is seen.

seem contained in the scriptures on your solutions, do not seem to some man made hierarchy headed by employing 1 noted as the pope. the only reality we've about our faith is the bible, God's be conscious. The bible does no longer say everyone's soul is going to limbo. The bible does no longer say you are able to pray for the useless, too previous due, pray for those alive. What about the thief on the move that Christ informed " this day i visit ascertain you in paradise" he became no longer baptized! in accordance to the scriptures we are to be baptized when we've usual the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal saviour. There are not any circumstances contained in the bible the position toddlers are baptized. We change into baptized when we understand what it potential and favor to do it out of obedience to the Lord, it symbolizes the shortcoming of life to the former self when we are immersed and as we upward thrust up it represents the hot existence the Lord has given us only as He rose from the useless. I say those products in kindness and am no longer attacking your faith yet even if this is not contained in the scriptures it truly is of guy no longer of God.

There is only one expert on God, and that is God. You see the pope can't possibly know that Limbo exists or doesn't. How do I know this? Well, simply put, he can't know this because he doesn't know anyone that has been to limbo, nor has anyone else ever known anyone, at any point in history of human existence that has been to limbo and returned to us to tell the tale. See the whole thing about limbo is...you have to be dead to get there. Assuming (and boy are we) that limbo, hell, or heaven do in fact exist, one can only imagine what they might be like, as no human that has EVER existed has any physical knowledge with regards to its existence. Therefore, and in conclusion, the pope doesn't need to decide anything, because only god himself could describe it to us in all of his power, but just like since the dawn of man, he chooses not to reveal himself in any sort of obvious manner that would lend to physical proof that this all isn't just a not so clever attempt to destroy the free will of mankind.

There is no limbo or purgatory. Heaven or hell. Dark and light no inbetween man people shouldnt read so far into revelations. That was what John saw in a vision of which no one has or can interpret without screwing it up. I ask where can anyone prove limbo to be real in the Bible not revelations but as Mat 3:10 says "Therefore the axe is already laid at the roots of trees therefore any tree that does not bare good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire." Besides I know this is judging him but I doubt he is at all close to heaven. Not with that autonomous mindset distorting the word of God and praying to mary.

The pope is a total farce! he has no Biblical authority whatsoever as "the rock" referred to in the Scriptures was Jesus Himself. He claims to be God's Representative here on earth and further claims to receive divine messages from the Lord. RUBBISH! we have a high priest who has entered into the heavens, even Jesus Christ the righteous and the Lord's Representative here on earth today is the Holy Spirit. I would like to see the look on his face when he stands in judgment before the Lord and attempts to justify his earthly position. The Lord will judge everyone and anyone not found written in the Lambs book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. Little wonder the Lord will destroy the catholic church during the tribulation for the reasons given in Revelation Ch.17 V1-9 Check it out!

My concern is for the poor, unbaptised babies held in limbo for countless years - where are they now?? I have visions of babies floating off to Pluto - oops! That is gone too. Where are the babies which we had to feel sorry for and feel, guiltily and gleefully about? Because we just made it - we were somehow saved from a fate worse than hell. I personally always wished that I could go to Limbo.

Sooner or later Catholics will realize that NO man is Gods representative on earth. God needs no representation, hes the Judge not the defendant.
Although it is good to hear that limbo is gone, maybe they will stop saying that mary ascended to heaven and sits at the feet of Jesus next. It may be true, who knows, but its not biblically supported
