Marriage is not something that's bought and sold like a commodity. Perhaps your friend needs to think a little bit more about this relationship. It doesn't sound too healthy to me.

I think that if money is soooooo important to her, she's marrying your friend for the wrong reasons. If she is head over heels in love with him, than the only thing she should wanting is marrying him. And thats it! The money doesn't count!! But its kind of obvious thats she's only after the money because she also says it that if she doesn't get what she wants, she would call the whole thing off.

The question to your friend is: do I want to marry a person like that? Whow obviously doesn't love me for the right reasons, but is completly in love with his bankaccount.

He has to follow his heart, but I don't think this is the right girl, for anyone out there actually!

Wish him good luck!

No blackmail, money is important in day to day life; but demands and threats are not. You know well begun is half done and smart enough to express the correct answer with love and humility and stick to it

it's true, if she truly loved him for him, she wouldn't be saying such nasty things. my husband and i had a very nice wedding for probably about $1500-2000 total. that's the dress, tux, tiara, veil, sight, JP, reception...well, everything! i've met people like her, and the way it sounds, he is having second thoughts about her because of her demands. that means that he realizes that she is not as good for him as he might have initially thought. i say he should get rid of her, and find someone who is worth spending the rest of his life with...instead of someone who will spend the rest of her life with him until his bank account runs dry! but it is ultimately up to him. just remember the ole' saying! "It's cheaper to keep her!" ;p

Call it quits.

If he is in love though and wants to go thru with it, there is not much you can do . . . . if you value your friendship with him.

I advise keeping your mouth shut about it and letting your friend make his own decision . . . good or bad.

Either she is greedy or she is looking to secure her future with money anyway this suggests that she may be selfish also. tell him to look for another girl
