I was just wondering what some veteran beer/overall acahole connoisseur's thought on the matter. What is the best beer out there... and what are some great drinks. I've tried Miller Light, and that stuff is pretty awsome, but I'm sure I haven't even tasted the half of it... so what's the best?

I'm not really partial to strong "heavy hop" beers by the way. So, just lemme know what all you guy'z think.

First, make sure you have a designated driver.

Second, find a brewery, a place like Rock Bottom or maybe there are some local ones where you live.
When you go, sit at the bar and talk to the bar tender, taste test different kinds. Start with the lights, then move into the medium bodies. They will teach you the differences and by you telling them what you like and don't like, they will know what to serve you. You will be served in a tasting fashion, and not a glass after glass, fall out on the floor and puke kind of way.

Don't just start buying at the store and hope for the best, seek out the kind you like.

I can tell you women like a man who knows his alcohol, and under most curcumstances, drink without getting stupid!!

Budweiser, because it makes you smarter- lol- Someone told me that years ago. CC & 7 makes a lot of people MEAN, so you may want to stay away from that Whiskey, okay? (I was a happy, yet, obnoxious drunk in my day). I think that blended daquris are GREAT! But, as far as a mixed drink goes, there are SO MANY out there. Just try to drink in moderation. Make sure someone is watching out for you. GOD knows I needed this, and did.
Okay, you have a new car, right? PLEASE get a DD (Designated Driver)- I think you knew what I meant. ADVICE: Don't go too crazy, my friend. Stay with ONE type of drink. Don't start drinking shots of different varieties that your friends are buying you. Make sure you have a BATHROOM close by, as you may need to upchuck, and have the DD have you next to a window once you leave the bar. If things start spinning, and you think that the Driver is going WAY too fast, (and they are only going 25 MPH)- Get ready to have em pull over. Open the door, and let it all out-lol!
If you liked the Miller Lite, go for it. For some reason, beer does taste best in the bottle. Don't ask me why, it just does. DO NOT, BY ANY MEANS, TAKE THAT NEW CAR OUT! PLEASE!
Try to eat some toast and take a couple of motrin before going to bed, as this will help out with a potential hangover. Have a bucket next to your bed, in case you get the bedspins. Guess I've been there, done that, huh? :-) NO, I am not your Mother, but, just somebody that cares! I want you to have fun, but, I was once your age, and I remember those days, okay? Just want to see you enjoy yourself and to live to see your 22nd birthday.
ONE LAST TIP: Eat before going out- This is a GREAT idea. Don't go on an empty stomach. Hey, it is true. I used to do this, or I'd drink a bunch of milk to get prepared for my night out. This helps, it really does.
HAVE FUN! I guess I missed your 21st Bd- SO HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! :-)

For light beers, nothing beats Coors Light.

Go with the Silver Bullet!

For your taste I would try Newcastle Brown or Smithwick's-both brown irish ales with full flavor but smooth.
You'll never drink another Lite (eewww).
For domestic, Killian's or Boulevard wheat are both pretty good.

German and Canadian are my favorites! Take it from someone that has been drinking off and on for years, know when to say when! Good luck :)
