How much should I expect to pay for a decent condition bulgarian makarov?

$250. Bulgarian models shoot very well. Almost as accurate as the East German models. Buy one and you will have a VERY functional gun. These are sought after models so expect to pay a bit higher price than for Russian models.
You will be amazed at the workmanship on these pistols considering other clunky looking goods of the former USSR.
Remember also that these shoot 9X18 Makarov ammo with a bullet diameter of .365 vs. a .380 acp or a 9 mm Luger ammon which is .355, this is to point out that you must use Makarov ammo. On the stopping power scene, the Mararov is closer to the .380 acp than the 9mm Luger.

Don't know if the country of origin makes that big a deal, but Maks go for around $150-250 dollars.
