I keep having to screw in the left side of my eyeglasses each time--or otherwise my lense will pop out.

Why does this keep happening every few weeks or so? What's the reasoning behind it? Are the glasses we wear naturally defective? Or does the vision gods have a vendetta against us near-sighted mortals?

Its possible that the housing for the screw is stripped so it doesn't hold the screw. Depending on where you got your glasses from, you may be able to get a replacement frame under warranty.

I think it has to do with your usual daily routine of wipping your left lense more often with the glasses clothe. It depend on how you wipe your lense and you are right or left handed person. I think you must wiped your lenses hard and particularly too hard on the left lense. Next time try to put some glue (after firmly tighted the screw and make gaps clean) into the small gaps of the screws and let it completely dried, you will not get vendetta from god anymore.

I hate that, too. It seems like the screw pops out at the worst possible time and the glasses repair kit you just bought doesn't have a screw that is the right size to fit your frames. All the ones that come with it are either too long, too short, or too big or too small.

Boy, it seems that way doesn't it. The frames are in a bind they are twisted in some way that's why.
