There can only BE one God. The one who created the whole universe.
It is man who has caused all the splits into the various religions.
Islam and christianity both claim a common basis, starting with Abraham.
In those early days, it is obvious that Abraham was dealing with only one God.
It is us who have credited God/ gods with various values.
We should be seeking God's answer to us.
And we have it in the Bible.
2 Timothy 3; 16,17 It is inspired.
The Quran has similarities, but was written well after Jesus and is based on one illiterate persons memory. Not the best basis for accuracy.

one God that trancends all human thought speech and art.
All our images of God are attempts by humans to put a face on what cannot be described.
They are all wrong and at the same time they are all correct. the Images and symbols used, are from the collective unconcios. They are all locally differant however exactly the same .
Brahma shiva Krishna
Father son holy ghost.
God angels devils.
Breaking God down in bite size peices the tiny human brain can swallow.
Religion protects people from a direct experiance of God.
There the ones who in other times are prophets shamens and mystics.
Today they are usually locked up for having craked up.

There is only one G-d.
And no one 'true path'.
That which we imagine as G-d is merely a pale shadow of the ineffable Real Deal.
G-d is too big to fit inside any one religion.

I believe in no higher power, no god. However, over the millenia, men have invented thousands of gods to meet their needs at the time.

There may be more than one - after all God instructs us "you shall have no other Gods before me" Why phrase it in such a way. The God of Israel is above all others (if they exist).
