my boyfriend was getting me this promise ring after xmas and we picked out the one i liked best and its now unavailable =[. i cant seem to find one that i really really like. so if anyone is super bored and would like to send me a few links... that would be great!
if it matters... i like white gold over yellow.. and would prefer it be a diamond ring... no more than $250!

Best thing to do is go to the store and see...if they don't have it, they can most likely order it. :) Doesn't hurt to ask! You'll never know otherwise.

Hey again
So my promise ring recently broke (I got it from Zales too!) so we've been looking for a replacement. I've looked *everywhere* and honestly, there's not much out there!
I remember your other post and what your other ring looked like- it was gorgeous- and think this ring is pretty too...but be careful with all the small diamonds...they can fall out pretty easily.
My ring I got at Zales lost the center diamond (it was a 3 stone) because the prongs broke! How crazy is that! They told him it'd be $341 to fix it...even though he only paid $290 for the ring. Grr. Anyways lol.
You don't *have* to buy from a jewelry store (though Zales is the only store I know that actually advertises "promise rings"). A promise ring is any ring that holds a promise behind it. You can try checking out Macy's, Kohl's, JCPenneys, etc. They also have pretty nice rings that aren't too bad (plus I think they're having a Christmas sale this week).
Good luck in your quest for a new ring :( I know how it feels to lose the one you really liked.
Good luck :)

yes it is!
In fact that is the only that i pick out for my wedding ring!
I am not a big fan of big diamonds.
I tried this ring on too and it look perfect on my little hands. The main diamond itself isn't all that big, if that matters to you.
But really this ring a so pretty!!

you can look around on jewelry websites for the rings you want. Promise ring doesn't always necessary have to have "promise ring" as a part of its description. my bf and i also picked one out on zales, here's alink, maybe you'll like it?:
http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2518534&cp=2071132.2109136&pg=1&fbx=1&cp=2071132&fbn=Metal+Color%7CWhite&f=PAD%2FGender%2FLadies%27&f=PAD%2FStone+Type%2FDiamond&f=PAD%2FMetal+Color%2FWhite&fbc=1&categoryId=2109136&kpc=1&s=A-StorePrice-ZALES&parentPage=search&searchId=19912243663
anyways, you can also try amazon, i was looking on there and there are some cheap ones that are silver, or 14k white gold. Look around, and if you have your heart set on the one you picked, definitely go to Zales the store and ask them. They can probably back order it...maybe for an extra fee? i don tknow. doesn't hurt to ask.

Honestly, if you do love your boyfriend, and this ring means a lot to you, then maybe the ring itself isn't the big picture. After all, if the relationship evolves, wouldn't the next ring be a much bigger deal?

You can call your local Zales stores and see if they have it or if they can order it for you. If they discontinued the style, however, you might have to find something similar to it. It is nice though. good luck.

If you are too young to get engaged, you are too young to "promise" yourself to someone. Promise rings were dreamt up by the jewelry industry to sell to naive teenagers who think they'll be together forever.

Promise rings are dumb and unnecessary. You're either engaged, or you're not.
As a side note, the stupidest thing of all is men wearing wedding rings.
