Oh man. That's such a hard situation. I think you should sit down with him and talk. Ask him how he truely feels about her, and don't let his honesty hurt you. If he tells you he still feels a lot for her then you need to allow him to do what he wants, and your best bet is to stay close to him, as if nothing more then a friend. Let him decide what he wants since you aleady know what you want! This is my secret: allow him to feel comfortable and let him know everything will be okay and you will be there for him no matter what. Still joke around with him, don't be angry! He won't want to be around you! And eventually...He'll realize the way you make him feel all the time is wonderful and he won't want to give that up!

u haven't been seeing him long enough to have formed that much of an emotional attachment. if he runs hot and cold this early in the relationship it is safe to say he has issues and u need to count your blessings that u are not in any deeper and say good-bye. sounds like u may have some insecurities of your own. it would be a positive step for you to move on without him. BE STRONG, and don't EVER let any one treat u wrong.

Say you aren't getting what you need out of the relationship. That you need a boyfriend that doesn't talk or still have feelings for their ex.

drop this guy like a hot rock, that's messy before you even get into it seriously and it's not worth the trouble. life is way too short for dramatic boys, unless that gets you off, then I guess it'll be a good time for you, some people thrive on that sort of thing, good luck!

you got the right idea hun(: you sound like a smart girl...just tell him the truth... say somthing like "look...i think you still have things to work out with your ex, you should take the time to do that and i wish you the best" but i'm sure you'll come up with your own way of saying it. good luck(:

You should get rid of him. He'll only use you. You don't have to put up with some one being rude. A boyfriend don't act like that. No wonder him and his other girl broke up!

Girl, what are you waiting for? Can't you see that he's bipolar with you. He is not worth it...I mean talking to his ex is fine, they could be friends, but talking to her and not calling you because he's on the line with her is a NO - NO. Also, the mood...

Whoever can't let go of their past is not a good idea to date, especially the actions you're describing! I suggest you let him go, if not, you'll be the hurt one at the end. Take it from experience and good luck making your decision!

please please break up with him, he's just using you. Not to be mean but your the rebound. Why would you want to talk on the phone with someone who doesnt even want to talk to you. If you know he stills has feelings for his ex, then why do you want him. You can find someone way better who wont be mean to you

You should really talk to him and straighten all that out. If anything, admit to each other you dont have strong feelings and would rather be friends
