first off you can't spot reduce, you can spot tone though. so your best bet is to do cardio, eat a good diet of 4-6 meals a day high in protein, low in carbs and light weights with high reps, drink lots of water and STAY AWAY FROM SUGAR. your top athletes can lose 20 pounds in 2 days (i'm not recomending it) so a few pounds is nothing esp since only 3-5 pounds is water weight anyhow

Your hips may just be naturally wider than normal. There isn't any way to change this, but you can camoflauge it with the right clothing. But if you insist on losing the weight then just stick to 800 calories and bump the exercise up to the next level, and don't eat after 5pm. That should get the weight off in like a week-a week and 1/2. If you want it faster, 3 pounds is no big deal, you can do it in a day. Just cut down on the calories as low as you wish to go down, and bump the exercise as far up as you can. But if you use this route, make sure you can pretty closely stick to the lifestyle you set, because in order to keep it off you have to keep going. You should also work on your abs (sit ups, etc) to make sure your stomach looks toned.

Your wieght is healthy for your height, you could weigh 10lbs more and still be healthy.
Maybe you are short waisted if you think your midsection is not "long" enough. Or it may be that due to your shorter height, it doesn't look long. Miley is about 3 inches taller than you. And she wears a very low rise jeans which make her midsection look longer.
Learn to accept your body the way it is.

Hi. You probably don't want to hear this but 14 is way to young to be on a weight loss diet. You are risking growing taller to be thinner. Drink LOTS of milk EVERYDAY. Exercise and sports is always good, just don't cut back on food to lose weight. After 17-18, then you can start dieting.

wow there is so much wrong whith that question. First of all you could lose 3 lbs. running for 20 min. Next if youre skinky but have a wide stomach there's nothing you can do about that it genetic. If youre 108 that is not concidered fat to any one but anerexics (dont know how to spell). Three pounds wouldn't make that much diff. anyway. You should ask your dr. becsuse everybody is diff. but it sounds like you need to GAIN weight.
