I think the young fella meant to ask what is 3:05pm in military time. Many countries in the world, unlike our country, use the 24 hour method for time. The military uses it to prevent confusion, everyone is on the same time and no chance for a screw up such as with the 12 hour system. I have been using the 24 hour system since I was a young child, father was military plus I lived in Europe for many years. If you ever travel to Europe and parts of Asia, you better be familiar with the 24 hour time. So, I guess we need to figure out your question, because 1505 is under the 24 hour method which the military uses. Most of the time you will see 15:05 written as 1505.

3:05 the military clock is run off a 24 hour time so all you have to do is add 12 to what ever PM number you have
