you "learned(by hearing others in the church)" or "made up" a tongue so that you could be looked at as more spiritual and godly in the church?

Not within the church I attend. Because, the church I attend leaves your personal life entirely, between you and God [Jesus]. They don't "pressure" anyone into being or doing anything. They give you the right to choice. Personally speaking, anyone attending any church and feels pressured into worshiping or how he or she is worshiping God, is wasting their time ! How empty one must feel after going through an ordeal like that !

I have never been pressured in a church. If I had, I would have found a new church. I don't know what you mean by made up a tongue..Speaking in tongues? I don't believe in that. I don't go to such a church.

Many people confuse being pressured with their conscious.
