so thanks for the advice....well he is currently pissed at me. he came home from work yelled at me, bitched about lights being on,and the bedroom was dirty. we have a big home and the whole house is spotless EXCEPT our bedroom. i clean and cook all day just to make him not ***** and he does anyway. then asks me to go to taco bell at midnight....im not hungry.. but im nice so i did then he asked me to get gas for him so he doesnt have to in the morning!omg...Then tells me hes unhappy with our sex life.......r u serious....do i really wanna lay down with a jerk.....am i wrong for thinking this way.

No. You're trying very hard to please him but it never seems to work does it? That's because the things that're going on inside him you can't do anything about. You dream of the day when he can love you like you want but that day never seems to come.
Wow... I can relate. Co-dependancy. Sucks man....

Unfortunately, I have learned. You can bang your heart against the wall all you want, but it won't change reality. He's a damaged individual. You can try to change him but it may not be successful. Point your heart in a direction you're likely to get more success. Stop the magical thinking.
You do this because you're still trying to get your father's heart. And, you imagine, that if you turn this guy around you can somehow find the key to your father's heart. Hard, hard, hard. I'm going through it now. Those feelings about your father MUST be confronted, mourned, dealt with, if you're to ever to get past this.
For me, since I'm a man, it was about my mother. For you, since you're a woman, it's about your father.
