No, it can actually help with the symptoms.
The problem with taking a shower or bath during illness is if you leave your hair wet and go outside when it is cold. Most of your heat leaves through the top of your head, so if your hair is wet, you lose even more heat and expose yourself to more cold.
It won't make you catch a cold, but lower body temp can expose you to more illness.
Take a bath and relax those muscles. Then dry your hair as good as possible and have some tea and stay inside where it's warm. It'll make you feel better.

Yes. If you have the flu, avoid taking a full bath/shower. Take a sponge bath, and then not late or just before going to bed for the night. Time of day is very important in health matters. E.g., the most common time of day for a person to get a heart attack/stroke is early morning.

I have found a good soda or salt water bath to help with a fever.
When I get a fever I perspire. This causes the skin to get cold. That makes me shiver more. That raises my core temperature. That in turn makes me sweat more.
Getting into a bath at about (95º) that is warmer than the air (70º) but lower than my temperture (100º) helps break my fever. The key is to use baking soda or Epson salts. If you take a fresh water bath you’ll absorb water and need to use the toilet. Getting the water salty brings it more in balance with your body’s PH. A little more salt will dry you out and make you thirsty. Drinking more is not a bad thing when you have fever.

No a bath won't make you worse, unless you have a fever and you make the bath water too hot it could increase your temperature. If you do have a temperature, you need to be sure the water temperature isn't any hotter than room temperature, then you can enjoy. Feel better soon!
