Okay. I am always having my friends telling me I am so pretty and that I should have a bf and everything but guys won't even talk to me. I think that I scare them away! I am rather tall (taller than most of them at my age) I am 5 10....... I am a good student and a horrible athlete. I can rarely get guys to talk to me. Some think I am a nerd cause of my good grades. Others just think I am annoying I guess. I can rarely make friends that are guys and in my whole life I have only had 4....... I don't want them to be scared of me. What can I do? Is it my height....... or is it my grades........ Or what? I am 14! and they all are scared of me! It is just plain annoying! I am blond and have green eyes.......... What could it be?

It could be your height. Guys are sometimes intimidated by girls taller than them. However, the average height of a male is 5'9-5'10...so it shouldn't be that bad. It could be something else..maybe you havent talked to enough guys?

If a guy somewhat likes you, once you're being your self you will not scare him away. seem for that guy. while you're worried you are going to "scare somebody away" - then your gazing the incorrect guy, he's not for you. straight forward as that. My considerable different is the only I in no way had to be stricken what I did or mentioned - merely loved my organic character - and if I mentioned or did something embarrassing, does not make a great deal of it. From the beginning up. that's the form of man or woman I actual have. call for what you want and don't settle for something much less - you will want a much greater effectual dating and existence while you're actually not irritating approximately scaring him/her off.

They can tell you're not confident in yourself.
You just listed several things you think could be wrong with you. You're tall- that's not a bad thing at all! In 3 or 4 years you will have people jealous of your height! You're smart....people will always be jealous of your academic success, but don't let it bother you! Don't be too cocky though...stay humble and be thankful for your grades.
My point is that you are YOU, but if you aren't okay with how you are and you're constantly thinking of things you need to change about yourself- people will not be drawn to you.
Work on liking yourself, and others will follow. Also, when you love yourself you won't really care whether or not other people approve.
On boys, you don't want a guy who only likes you for shallow things...trust me. Wait for the guy who loves you for YOU and doesn't want a thing to change...not even your quirks.

if you're taller than all the guys you just got unlucky enough to have an early growth spert and you've got to hang in there for another year or two for them to catch up to you and then theyll probably ask you out. I know I wouldn't want to go out with a girl that was taller than me, it would make me feel out of proportion. The guy's supposed to be the protector in my mind, and if I was shorter than the girl it would feel awkward

You could be pretty, and they're scared of rejection if they approach you, but unless I saw a pic I couldn't make that judgment.
