Use whey protein. Its the most complete form of protein. I get Body Fortress. It has 46grams of protein per serving which is about the norm. Its a little over $12 and tastes really good. I get it at Walmart.

Whey. 1 - 3 times a day, make sure your doing a good workout to make good use for the protein and carbs.

i suggest going with soy and whey protein powders (get a canister of each - you want to take enough soy as well because it is 'heart healthy'). whatever you do, DONT get the shake mix crap thats probably cheapest (like mus-l-blast). that stuff is loaded with carbs and you probably dont need it. go with the straight protein stuff - thats ~100 cal, low carb, >14 g protein per serving. take a scoop with milk or orange juice (i prefer to mix vanilla powder with OJ - tastes like a dreamsicle if you can use your imagination). continue to eat a healthy diet high in veggies and fruits and low in fat and fluffy carbs (too much bread, sodas, etc).
