Ok, so theres this girl who I've seen a few times and talked to outside school through another friend, but I've never actually gotten her number or anything. We seem to stare at each other a lot and occasionally say hi when passing each other in the hall but shes a junior and I'm a sophomore so we have no classes together.
Anyway, I've been thinking about asking her out, but I can't really tell if she likes me or not, she seems to want to talk to me, but she also doesn't really seem to emote much, so it seems like shes very neutral. But, today after about a week of not really talking she comes up to me and says "Have a good break" then I replied likewise and before I could continue the conversation she walked off, but I might have looked done as if not interested out of nerves, I'm not sure.
That in itself doesn't sound like very much but consider it from the perspective of us essentially being strangers to each other. What do you think Y! answers?

omg this is like almost the exact situation im in right now too, and i thought u were the person i was thinking of for a sec but ur not lol =)
maybe this girl likes u and wanted to say something to u before u left for break and didnt see each other, so thats why she talked to u today. u should talk to her more when u see her, or see if a friend could do something and have both of u there so u could hang out and stuff. just dont be nervous, relax and everything will be fine when u talk to her, shes not gunna bite u =) so just have fun and good luck! <3

You need to take the initiative and be sure and approach her and talk to her a couple of times. Then ask her out. She apparently finds you interesting, or she would not have talked to you or been looking at you. Smile at her and give her a little wave next time. Guys need to let the girl know that they are interested. Good Luck.

You need to get a number or something from her. That's the first step. To get over the nerves do it as soon as you see her WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT. It's the best way cause it'll be completly sincere and u won't be nervous. Once you do that you should be able to find out exactly how she feels.

Dude find her myspace or messanger talk to her and get her # and then just eventually ask her if she likes you but you need to see if she has a good personality. It seems as she likes you or if you think about it when she is looking at you is she just checking out how you look or actually checking you out.

Hey, take a chance ! Ask her out..but be pleasant and smile. You will know one way or the other if she is interested. If she is not interested, still be pleasant to her... but then look elsewhere. One way or the other, you will know where you stand.

Next time you see her, ask her how her break was and ask her if it'd be ok to get her number. You will finally get your answer then!

Don't do it. I would never go out with a guy a year younger than me, especially if I don't know him well. Get to know her better, then reconsider.

this may sound immature, but it works! make a note that says how much you like her and how you would LOVE to hang out sometime. don't make it all lovey-dovey kiss-kiss but make sure to make it sound like you're interested.
