ok so i have these two bottles of mucus relif dm tablets..and there are 30 of them in each bottle..for dxm users..umm..is this safe? will i get a high? ..what will the guaifenesin do to me?..ok..all i want to know is that after i take these after i throw up will i feel high of any kind??theres 20 mg of dxm and 40 of the other becasue i will not buy these pilss anymore if so thank you!

I don't know what dxm is, but guaifenesin is an expectorant, meaning it loosens phlegm so you can cough UP whatever is in your sinuses or lungs. It is also used sometimes as a laxative/cleanser/detoxer due to the fact that it also loosens mucus in your colon making you a human slip and slide. This is only appropriate a few times a year.
It is dangerous to overuse guaifenesin because with its laxative properties, it can lead to dehydration (where you poop out all your fluids) and dependence (where you can't go to the bathroom without it). Safe dose is up to 800mg every 6-8 hours under a doctors care, usually for upper respiratory infection. This is usually given with antibiotics, to help move the infection while the antibiotics kill it off...and the duration of your antibiotics is about the same length of time to take guaifenesin.
If you are rummaging around in a collection of old meds just to find a buzz, please reconsider. Don't use anything that is expired, in fact, please don't try to get high with over the counter pills at all. Most don't lead to intoxication, but they can have serious damaging effects to any number of organ systems.

you wont feel high. but taking all of them is dangerous
