The Pope condemns the climate change prophets of doom: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/worldnews.html?in_article_id=501316&in_page_id=1811&ito=1490
Although this story is a little outlandish, it does separate the Pope from Mr Gore.
The Pope is simply encouraging international dialog based on good science and cautioning against ultimatums based on dubious science.
If you read the article the Pope says that to further the cause of world peace it was sensible for nations to "choose the path of dialogue rather than the path of unilateral decisions" in how to cooperate responsibly on conserving the planet.
With love in Christ.

As soon as some one makes a profit on an oxygen generating process, they'll be there to condemn it.
It isn't about CO2. It's about capitalism.
