I've heard a lot of girls say that they would rather be called "beautiful" or "gorgeous" than "hot" or "sexy."
However, it seems difficult to imagine a lot of girls taking it well when a guy calls them "beautiful."
It seems like they would think that means the guy wants a relationship or is falling for them, whereas "you're hot" just means "let's make out."
So do most girls actually want to be called things like "beautiful" by guys?

A sensible girl will know that when you call her beautiful you just want to make out anyway. It's just nicer when you say "beautiful" than "hot" and she'll be more willing. But if you just want to make out with chicks, be careful who you're dealing with. Some will go crazy if you kiss them then leave them hanging. Try and find a girl whose already slutty so you don't have to corrupt anyone and she won't care as much what you do afterward. So good luck, I guess, you skank. :)

hot and sexy mean that your just looking at the face
but beautiful is like the overall thing

Yeah, I'd totally rather be called gorgeous or beautiful. More so beautiful, though.
Because when you're called beautiful, I feel that it means so much more than a person's appearance.

me personally i would rather be called beautiful because i think that guys that call you "hot" or "sexy" are arrogant. Plus i don't like to make out with guys who only like me for my looks. Beautiful can mean your looks or your personality, but Hot just degrades you into some piece of meat.

some girls don't exactly want to be sexy all of the time, that's not an everyday thing, i guess, it would seem more real to be called beautiful than sexy. beautiful is more of a loving, personal way of saying 'you're hot'. when i think of that, i think of a guy checking a girl out when they aren't together. see what i mean. idk, that's just my opinion....i agree with Tania ^

beautiful is so much better
i mean think about it
your beautiful can mean so many things like your not only beautiful on the outside,but your beautiful on the inside
whereas sexy or hot is just about appearance

i hate the word hot(when referrin to the opposite sex)
if i see a guy that looks good i say= good lookin'
and yes some girls to prefer to be called beautiful, hot is annoying ,gorgeous works too:)

the word beautiful is more of a genuine compliment. it feels more sincere than to be called "hot" and "sexy" because it does imply something else.
i think it depends on the time of when and where and how comfortable you are with each other.
